Checking Browser Compatibility
FrontPage can help to check the compatibility of your browser with FrontPage capabilities to make sure your Web site works properly. In the Page Options dialog box, you can select the Web server technologies and newest browser you want to support, and then FrontPage turns off the options beyond the capabilities of the specified browser. After you create your site, you can search for compatibility problems.
Match Browser Capabilities
| Click the Tools menu' and then click Page Options. |
| Click the Authoring tab. |
| Click the FrontPage And SharePoint Technologies list arrow, and then select an option. |
| Click the Browsers list arrow, and then click a browser option. |
| If available, click the Browser Versions list arrow, and then click the newest version. |
| Click OK. |
Search for Compatibility Problems
| Click the Tools menu' and then click Browser Compatibility. |
| Click the option to specify which pages you want to search. |
| Click Check. |
| To open the Web page with the problem, double-click it. |
| To save the list of compatibility problems as a Web page, click Generate HTML Report. |
| Click Close. |
