Adjusting Graphic Contrast and Brightness
Once you have inserted clip art and other objects into a Web page, you can adapt them to meet your needs. Perhaps the clip is too small to be effective, or you don't quite like the colors it uses. You can increase or decrease the brightness of a graphic, as well as the color contrast using the Pictures toolbar. In addition, you can introduce a wash, a gray art effect that increases the brightness but dims the contrast and serves as an excellent background.
Adjust Graphic Contrast and Brightness
| Click the View menu, click Page, and then open the Web page you want to use. |
Select the graphic you want to adjust.
Resize handles appear on the graphic and the Pictures toolbar opens. | To alter the color contrast, click the More Contrast button or the Less Contrast button on the Pictures toolbar. |
| To change the brightness, click the More Brightness button or the Less Brightness button on the Pictures toolbar. |
Wash Out the Color in a Graphic
