Changing Graphic Positioning
FrontPage gives you the control you need to place graphics and text on the page in exactly the place where you want them. You can position graphics and text elements on the page in different ways. You can use absolute positioning to place an element at an exact location on the page, or relative positioning to place an element inline with text, where it can move depending on the changes you make on the page. When you change positioning, FrontPage creates a separate layer (identified by a blue border and a name tag in the upper-left corner) for the element, which you can resize, move, and name. An element placed using absolute positioning appears in a fixed location relative to the top-left corner of the page.
Change Graphic Positioning
 | Click the View menu, click Page, and then open the Web page you want to use. |
 | Select the graphic you want to change positioning. |
 | Click the Format menu, and then click Position. |
 | Click the Absolute or Relative box. |
 Click OK.
A blue layer appears with the graphic.  | To move or resize the positioning layer, click the edge of the layer (if necessary), and then drag the edge or a handle. |

You can use the Positioning or Pictures toolbar to set absolute positioning options.
Right-click any toolbar, and then click Positioning or Pictures. Select the Web page elements you want, click the Position Absolutely button, and then drag the handles to resize the positioning layer. |
