Inserting Microsoft Excel Data

If you have data in a Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheet, chart, or PivotTable, you can insert it into a Web page. When you insert Excel data into a Web page, visitors to your site can view and interact with the data online without having to install the Office Excel program on their computer. The Excel Web component includes a toolbar with sorting and data analysis tools.

In Excel, copy the data you want to use in FrontPage.

In FrontPage, click the View menu, click Page, and then open the Web page you want to use.

The following steps vary depending on the item you select.

Click the Web Component button on the Standard toolbar.

Click Spreadsheets And Charts.

Click Office spreadsheet, Office Chart, or Office PivotTable.

Click the Data Source tab, click the Data Typed Into A Data Sheet option, and then click Data Sheet.

Click the first cell to Paste.
