Inserting Microsoft Excel Data
If you have data in a Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheet, chart, or PivotTable, you can insert it into a Web page. When you insert Excel data into a Web page, visitors to your site can view and interact with the data online without having to install the Office Excel program on their computer. The Excel Web component includes a toolbar with sorting and data analysis tools.
Insert Microsoft Office Excel Data
| In Excel, copy the data you want to use in FrontPage. |
| In FrontPage, click the View menu, click Page, and then open the Web page you want to use. |
Click where you want to place the Excel spreadsheet, chart, or PivotTable.
The following steps vary depending on the item you select. | Click the Web Component button on the Standard toolbar. |
| Click Spreadsheets And Charts. |
| Click Office spreadsheet, Office Chart, or Office PivotTable. |
| Click Finish. |
| Click the Data Source tab, click the Data Typed Into A Data Sheet option, and then click Data Sheet. |
| Click the first cell to Paste. |
| Click the Paste button on the Commands And Options dialog box. |
| Click the Type tab, and then select a chart type. |
| Click the Close button on the Commands And Options dialog box. |
