Drawing Lines and Arrows

The most basic drawing objects you can create on your pages are lines and arrows. FrontPage includes several tools for this purpose. The Line tool creates line segments. The Drawing toolbar's Line Style and Dash Style tools determine the type of line used in any drawing object—solid, dashed, or a combination of solid and dashed lines. The Arrow tool lets you create arrows that emphasize key features of your page. You can edit the style of the arrow using the Arrow Style tool.

Did You Know?

You can constrain a line drawing. You can use keys on the keyboard to adjust lines as you draw them. To constrain the angle of the line to 15-degree increments, press and hold Shift as you drag the pointer. To draw the line from the center out, instead of from one endpoint to another, press and hold Ctrl as you drag the pointer.

You can display the Drawing toolbar. If the Drawing toolbar is not visible, click the View menu' point to Toolbars' and then click Drawing.
