Inserting a Dynamic HTML Effect

You can add special effects to your Web pages by using Dynamic HTML (DHTML). With DHTML, you can have animation text fly off the page one word at a time or change a long list of points into a space-saving collapsible outline. An animation effect is tied to a trigger event on the part of the visitor. The trigger event can be anything from clicking a link to entering the site. Formatting alters the look of a specific page element, including changing colors or applying new effects.
