Changing Graphic Formats
When you insert clip art in a Web page, the file arrives in the WMF (Windows Metafile) format, which is not a good format to use on the Web pages. When you save a Web page with WMF files or any other non Web graphic, FrontPage prompts you to save the graphics on that page, and set the file format to JPEG, GIF, or PNG through the Save Embedded Files dialog box. This dialog box automatically opens any time you attempt to save a page containing a graphic element. If you want more control over the formats and settings, you can convert individual graphics yourself to one of four Web friendly formats: GIF, JPEG, PNG-8, and PNG-24. If you change the graphic format to GIF or JPEG, you can set additional options.
